New 57,000 sq. ft. office/manufacturing building for a custom machine manufacturer. Dorschner|Associates, Inc. was the architect for the design/build team. The building was constructed using tilt-up, insulated concrete panels. The green building features include integrated daylighting, high-performance, low-E glazing, solar shading and energy-efficient ambient and task lighting; a white colored roof to reduce solar heat gain; natural interior finishes; exposed concrete walls and stained concrete floors to reduce material use and increase durability; and a native landscaped retention pond/rain garden to infiltrate storm water.
